河北省建筑机械材料设备产品质量监督检验站于二〇〇二年由河北省质量技术监督局批准成立。体制改革企业化管理后在工商局注册为河北世纪建筑材料设备检验有限公司。现在站与公司双轨并行，业务隶属河北省质量技术监督局、河北省住房和城乡建设厅领导，是负责对建筑门窗，幕墙及其型材、管材、管件，防水材料，保温材料，建筑工程材料，涂料，节能产品，工程机械，建筑电气等建筑机械设备、材料产品质量检验工作提供科学检测的省级检验机构。可承担建筑工程检测及各类建材的型式检验，承担并接受河北省质量技术监督局，河北省住房和城乡建设厅等有关部门和委托单位下达或委托的建筑机械材料设备产品质量的各项监督检验或委托检验任务。
